This Wednesday, the Media Council launched the second cycle of training for young journalists working in online media. Three young journalists are monitored daily in connection with the news they publish on a daily basis during their work in order to improve the ethical standards in the media where they work, for a period of 4 weeks.
The meetings take place once a week on the Zoom platform, where journalist with long experience in the media, Alfred Lela, and ethics expert Mark Marku give their assessments of what are considered ethical violations and what improvements can be made.
The purpose of the training in cooperation with the Dutch Embassy is to stimulate debate on media ethics with the working group of journalists.
