AMC is creating an online database on the breaches of the code of ethics

Albanian Media Council started the process of the creation of an extensive on line database of the breaches of the code of ethics to make it available online. This is the first process to raise the awareness of the self-regulation.
The database will contain the findings from a monitoring process that is on going within AMC from one year now. The idea is to to raise public awareness on the high levels of the breach of code of ethics in Albanian Media and on the fact that self-regulation works only if the public is actively involved in this process. Public can have access in the database through a search system that will be categorized according to Code of Ethics articles.
The creation of this database is made possible within the framework of the project “Towards Improvement of Labor Relations and Professionalism in a of Journalists (IJF).
